MEET DAN DOANE
With more than 25 years of accounting and financial management experience, I’ve worked with businesses ranging from growing owner-operated companies to complex multi-entity organizations. My background includes roles as Controller and Corporate CFO, giving me experience not only keeping the books accurate, but helping business owners understand what their numbers are actually telling them.
My experience spans full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, job costing, multi-entity and intercompany accounting, debt management, financial controls, and accounting system implementation. I’ve worked extensively with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, AppFolio and other financial systems, and I understand how accounting, operations and cash flow come together in the real world.
CFOman was created to bring that experience to businesses that need more than basic bookkeeping but may not need another full-time financial executive. Whether that means getting the accounting under control, improving reporting and cash-flow visibility, providing fractional Controller oversight, or offering CFO-level financial guidance, my goal is simple: give business owners numbers they can trust and information they can actually use.
